Amanda Arlington, DNP, MSN, BSN, FNP-C, RN, is a certified family nurse practitioner with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care.
“Trust your gut” is a mantra Amanda shares with her patients, encouraging them not to delay care when something doesn’t feel right. “You know your body better than anyone else, but don’t wait until you have symptoms to develop a relationship with a primary care provider.”
Amanda reminds her patients that annual check-ups, screenings and living a healthy lifestyle are important ways for her patients to be proactive with their own health.
Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Doctor of Nursing Practice at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky.
She is a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Providers, Kentucky Association of Nurse Practitioners & Nurse-Midwives, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of medicine, Amanda and her husband stay busy with their two children and Bernese Mountain Dog. She enjoys travel to experience new places, cultures, and restaurants. She’s also an outdoors enthusiast who likes swimming, biking, hiking and running.
