I came in to establish care and have the doctor exam a vulva varicose vein that has been bothering me for months. That issue was barely discussed after she nonchalantly said she felt something in my breast and ordered an MRI, which I've never had nor could I feel what she was trying to get me to feel. I understand she may deal with this daily, but my mind was reeling after she said that. It was hard to even think straight. She was very quick about everything and I would've loved for her to take more time to explain things and to just show some empathy.

I had concerns about vaccinations, but when expressing them I wasn't met with any follow up questions or explanations other than "We recommend them for everyone at every pregnancy". I had to bring up recent lab results which were requested by a different physician in the practice. I was slightly discouraged by the blanket response of "a growth scan because you're over 35" when everything else has been communicated to me as being within normal limits for this pregnancy. I'd rather not have to spend the time or additional money for something that isn't a significant concern.

I didn't feel rushed but I feel like she was a little annoyed by my questions. Trying to plan for a baby is overwhelming and I want to be the most prepared I can be, so I had a lot of questions.
