Mimi (Miriam) Dotse is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine. She aims to provide holistic, patient-centered care with kindness, honesty, and respect.
Mimi was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by her grandmother, a nurse in Ghana, West Africa. “Her passion and warm heart for people, especially the sick, was exceptional,” Mimi says.
Mimi earned her diploma in nursing from Western Hills School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Central University College in Accra, Ghana. She earned a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Cincinnati.
Mimi is Board Certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In 2020, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Mimi is a member of the Ohio Nurses Association, Registered Nurse Association, and Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses.
Following in her grandmother’s footsteps, Mimi enjoys providing medical care through missionary work and engaging in educational talks on healthcare topics, especially for lower-income populations. In her free time, Mimi enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with family.
