Tyler Grome is Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) who specializes in inpatient cardiovascular critical care at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Grome joined our team in January 2022 with a wealth of experience in cardiac intensive care medicine.
Grome was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by his father who worked as a nurse with Veterans Affairs for 30 years. “I frequently had opportunities to experience the many connections my dad made in the community and the positive impact these interactions created on many lives throughout his nursing career. This is what created a desire within me to connect to the community and help those in need,” Grome says.
Grome enjoys working alongside his patients, their families, and care teams to establish goals for restoring health and improving quality of life. “Accomplishing small goals each day matters and must first be met before large goals can be attained. There will be setbacks and some things may need restoration along the way, but that is essential for growth and a part of the journey,” Grome says.
Grome earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University. He is certified Critical Care Registered Nurse by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and a member of the American Nurses Association and the Kentucky Nurses Association.
Outside of work, Grome and his wife are enjoying raising two children. He enjoys Kentucky Wildcats Basketball, Marvel Universe films, yoga, soccer, golf and a variety of music.
