Dr. Aruna Puthota completed her undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science. She served as a certified first responder before earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Puthota then relocated to Ohio for the Psychiatry-Family Medicine Combined five-year residency program at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and The Christ Hospital where she served as Chief Resident and received the Gold Humanism in Teaching and Resident as Teacher awards.
During her free time, Dr. Puthota enjoys movie nights and spending time outdoors with her husband and children, kayaking, dancing, travelling and trying new foods.
