Mo Gerdvisheh, MD, is a board certified surgeon with The Christ Hospital Physicians – General Surgery. His areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery; robotic-assisted surgery; complex hernia repair; surgery of the intestines, gallbladder, and appendix; and removal of soft tissue masses and melanomas.
Dr. Gerdvisheh graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, Va.) with a bachelor of science in biology and a minor in chemistry. He earned his medical degree at the Saba University School of Medicine (Caribbean Netherlands) and completed his residency in general surgery at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. During his residency, he was awarded the Joel A. Essig Outstanding Resident Award as the most technically gifted and compassionate surgical resident.
Dr. Gerdvisheh is certified by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American College of Surgeons.
During his free time, Dr. Gerdvisheh enjoys soccer, golf, traveling with his wife, and cooking. He also holds a certificate in PADI Open Water Scuba diving.
