Dr. Christian Gausvik completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Gausvik then began a residency at The Christ Hospital UC Family Medicine Residency Program, serving as chief resident in his final year and earning the Ohio Academy of Family Physician's annual Resident Leadership award before completing his Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program at The Christ Hospital.
Dr. Gausvik has volunteered with the Alzheimer's Association for over a decade, participated in global health trips to South America, and received local and state awards for his leadership and advocacy activities. He continues to spend much of his time serving the Cincinnati community as president and co-founder with his husband, Cody, through the Giving Voice Foundation. Their mission is to improve the health of older adults in Cincinnati through fundraising, storytelling, advocacy, and education. He also remains passionate about serving the local LGBTQ+ community in his primary care role.
During his free time, he enjoys cooking, photography, exercise, finding new restaurants, and arts & culture.
