About Said I. Nabhan, MD

Dr. Nabhan completed his residency in Internal Medicine and went on to complete his fellowships in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. After his fellowships, he spent 19 years of private practice in Tennessee taking care of patients, as well as serving as Chief of Medicine and later Chief of Staff at the Methodist Hospital there. His care philosophy is to treat people with the same care and respect that he would want his own family to be treated. He believes that listening to patients and taking their complaints seriously is the key to being a good doctor. Once his kids were away to college in Boston, he and his wife decided it was time for change and decided to make Cincinnati their new home where he joined the well-established and reputable private practice of Cincinnati GI. One thing he has been able to enjoy as an avid soccer fan and middle school volunteer coach, is FC Cincinnati and their road to Major League Soccer. He is looking forward to cheering them on in the new stadium in his orange and blue. He also enjoys martial arts and he is a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was an instructor when his kids were young; they kept him busy between martial arts and soccer. He loves to travel with his family, particularly going to visit his mom, and later his brother and sisters after his mother passed away in December 2020.
