CINCINNATI (December 10, 2021) – The Christ Hospital Health Network is pleased to announce that Andre Boyd, Sr., FACHE, has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer. Boyd will begin in January 2022.

Before his arrival at The Christ Hospital Health Network, Boyd spent nearly 20 years in healthcare administration. Most recently he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C., a system affiliated with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and Novant Health with 8,000 employees and more than 700 physicians. While there, he was named Industry Era’s Magazine 10 Best COOs in 2020 and the National Association of Health Services Executives Senior Healthcare Executive of the year in 2019.

Prior to that, Boyd was Chief Executive Officer at Jackson North Medical Center in North Miami Beach, Fla. Boyd received his Bachelor of Science degree at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La. He then went on to earn his Master of Healthcare Administration at Tulane School of Public Health in New Orleans, La.
Boyd believes a great leader must emphasize mentorship and workplace development. He plans on bringing both of those aspects to The Christ Hospital Health Network culture.
