Dr. Jewell received his medical degree from the Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine, after completing his undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated cum laude. He completed his residency in emergency Medicine at St. Vincent Mercy Medicine Center, in Toledo, OH.

Dr. Jewell is the current Assistant Medical Director of The Christ Hospital's Emergency Department and a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Ohio State Medical Association. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
