Traffic Alert: Auburn Avenue widening near The Christ Hospital main campus
Construction crews are currently widening Auburn Avenue near The Christ Hospital to add an additional lane for traffic and a turn lane. There will be no disruptions to entrances or parking at The Christ Hospital or the Medical Office Building during construction.
The City of Cincinnati will maintain vehicle and pedestrian traffic throughout the project. This phase of construction work by our main campus is scheduled to be complete in early Winter 2023.
Construction will primarily be performed between 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekday work.
- Please allow for extra time when coming to our main campus due to the potential for slower traffic in the construction area.
- Be alert for construction workers and for temporary changes in traffic patterns, traffic lights, and directional signs.
- Metro bus stops near the hospital may be temporarily relocated during construction. Metro riders should watch for notices at their stop.
Where to park on our main campus
Free parking is provided to our patients and visitors in four seperate parking garages and/or lots on our main campus in Mt. Auburn.

P1 Garage
Parking in our P1 garage is for the following:
Access:
- From Auburn Ave., turn onto Mason St. or Huntington Place and follow signs to P1.
- The skywalk to the hospital and Medical Office Building is located on Level 1.
- Entrance open 24 hours a day.
- GARAGE CLEARANCE: 8
Note: Patients can also be dropped off in front of the Medical Office Building from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday.
P2 Lot
Parking in our P2 parking lot is for the following:
- Vehicles that exceed the 6’ 6” clearance in P3.
Joint & Spine Center and Orthopedic After Hours Clinic patients and visitors (front entrance to the Joint & Spine center is open Monday - Friday, 5 a.m. - 9 p.m. Outside of these hours, patients and visitors can use P1.)

From Auburn Ave., turn onto Huntington Place or Mason St. and follow signs to P2.
Enter the Joint & Spine Center from its front doors.
P3 Garage
Parking in our P3 garage is for patients and visitors going to the following departments or areas of the hospital:

- From Auburn Ave., turn onto Huntington Place or Mason Street and follow signs to P3.
- Take the elevators to C-level and enter near the emergency department. Entrance open 24 hours a day. (Note that the skywalk on level A will be closed to patients & visitors during COVID-19.)
- GARAGE CLEARANCE: 6’ 6”
P4 Garage
Parking in our P4 parking garage is for the following:
Access:
- From Auburn Ave., turn onto Huntington Place or Mason St. and follow signs to P4, which is located under the Joint & Spine Center.
- GARAGE CLEARANCE: 8’ 2”
Valet Parking
Valet parking is available for $6.00 at The Christ Hospital Main Campus in Mt. Auburn every weekday for the following hours:
- Heart Center - M-F - 5:00am - 8:00pm
- Joint & Spine Center - M-F - 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Medical Office Building - M-F - 7:30am - 6:00pm
