Visiting Hours
As a part of its commitment to a family-centered environment, The Christ Hospital holds minimal restrictions on visiting hours. Time with relatives and friends is considered part of a patient’s therapy and is welcome and encouraged, and we believe that patients rest better when they have the freedom to choose their own visiting hours.

The Christ Hospital encourages a family member to stay the night when a patient is in a private room and every effort will be made to provide sleeping accommodations for them to do so. Visitors of patients staying in a semi-private room will be asked to leave at a reasonable hour.

We ask visitors of patients on the behavioral services floor to observe the following visiting hours:
Monday - Saturday, 4:30 - 8 p.m., Sundays & Holidays, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

For safety reasons,  visitation may be limited when the patient is in isolation precautions due to an infectious disease.  In the event of these extenuating circumstances, a nurse will consult with the infection control practitioner regarding visitation.

Visitor Banking
Automatic bank machines, located in the lobby, offer a variety of banking services.

Family Surgical Lounge
If you’re scheduled for surgery, two members of your family may wait in the family surgical lounge from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. They should register when they arrive in the lounge. Volunteers who staff the lounge will escort them to meet with your physician after your surgery. Have your family follow these instructions unless your physician gives you others.

Visitor Lounges
Visitor lounges are located on most patient units, or in the hospital lobby.

Visitor Parking
Parking is free in the visitor garage adjacent to the hospital. The garage is lighted and monitored. Enter the hospital garage through the main hospital entrance or off Auburn Avenue.

To reach patient floors, enter hopital at the Main Lobby entrance.. To reach admitting, testing or surgery, enter the hospital at the Outpatient Center entrance. You can reach the medical office building from any level of the garage at entrances located near the Main Lobby entrance.
